Terms of Use

Groovia lets you discover and stream music, read lyrics, make playlists and listen together with others in a Mehfil. It is offered free of charge.

We work to keep Groovia fast and available, but we may change, add or remove features, and some songs may become unavailable at any time, because they depend on third parties.

An account is optional. If you make one:

• Use an email address you own and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Confirm your email address before making a playlist public.
• Pick a display name that is not offensive and does not pretend to be someone else.
• You must be at least 13 years old.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Songs, album artwork, artist pictures and lyrics on Groovia come from third-party sources and belong to their respective owners. Groovia does not own them and does not host the audio.

They are made available for your personal, non-commercial listening. You may not download, record, copy, resell, broadcast or publicly perform them through Groovia, or use Groovia to get around any rights holder's restrictions.

Playlist names, descriptions, uploaded covers and Mehfil names are yours. When you make something public, you allow Groovia to show it to other people inside the service and in link previews, for as long as it stays public.

Only upload pictures you have the right to use. Anything public must not be hateful, sexual, violent, harassing, misleading or illegal, and must not include someone else's private information.

• Breaking the law, or helping someone else to.
• Harassing, threatening or impersonating other listeners, including in a Mehfil.
• Scraping, bulk downloading or automated access to Groovia, or reselling any part of it.
• Overloading, attacking or probing the service, or getting around its limits and security.
• Uploading malware, spam or content you do not have the rights to.

Anyone signed in can report a public playlist or Mehfil. Content reported by several people is hidden while it is reviewed. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms, and we may do so without notice when people's safety or the service is at risk.

If you believe something on Groovia infringes your rights, follow the steps on our Copyright page and we will act on it.

Copies of Groovia may appear under other names or addresses. They are not ours, and we are not responsible for them. Groovia's official address is always listed at univora.site; check it before you sign in anywhere.

Groovia is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free, or that any particular song will be on it.

To the extent the law allows, Groovia and Univora are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or anything caused by third-party content or services, arising from your use of Groovia. Because the service is free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing.

We may update these terms as Groovia grows. The date at the top will change, and if you keep using Groovia after an update you accept the new terms.
