In short
- Groovia does not host audio files. Music, artwork and lyrics come from third parties and belong to their owners.
- Send a notice to our email with the details below, and we remove or disable the content once it checks out.
- Covers, names and descriptions that listeners upload are covered too.
1Content on Groovia
Songs, album artwork, artist pictures and lyrics shown on Groovia come from third-party sources. Groovia does not store the audio on its own servers and claims no ownership of it. All trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.
Listeners can also add their own playlist names, descriptions and cover pictures. They promise, under our Terms of Use, to upload only what they have the right to.
2Sending a notice
Email univora8@gmail.com with "Copyright notice" in the subject, and include:
- Your name, and how to reach you (email, and phone or address).
- The work you own, or represent, that you believe is infringed.
- The Groovia link (or links) where it appears.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3What we do next
We reply within 72 hours. When a notice is complete, we remove or disable access to the content on Groovia and, where it was uploaded by a listener, let them know.
Removing something from Groovia does not remove it from the original source. To have it taken down everywhere, also contact the service that hosts it.
4Counter-notice
If something you uploaded was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with:
- Your name and contact details.
- What was removed and where it appeared.
- A statement in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly upload content they do not have the rights to will be closed.
6False notices
Please send a notice only for work you own or represent. Knowingly false notices may carry legal consequences.
